our computer has been infected with a back door trojan which kept coming up with sex pop ups. When we turned the computer on today there was a bill for mbs for £39.99. Which turns out to be for my sex world subscription who i have never heard of i am not into !!!!!!. How do i get out of paying this bill and did they get my details from the trojan. Has anyone else had this. Or are they trying to frighten me into paying. Is it a legit company are there any details for them, nothing on the pop up.

Go through the malware removal guide, posts 1 to 4. If you haven't asked for anything then don't pay for it."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

first thing you need to do is to identify and deal with the trojan. do you have a firewall & anti virus installed, if not then install the following,
avg antivirus, available from
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/avg-anti-virus-free/lng/us/tpl/v5
zonealarm available from
http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list_za.jsp?dc=56pus&ctry=GB&lang=en
as regards the "bill" have you given thought that the trojan has picked up the info from your PC, it depends on what the trojan is as to what level of access someone may have had to your details.
in the meantime who has access to your PC and for what reason. It would not be the first time I have had to explain to a parent that someone in the house may have been visiting inappropriate sites for their age. I do not judge these people but it is often a difficult thing to accept but when presented with the evidence is difficult to disagree.
if you have an existing anti-virus and firewall then these should be able to identify the trojan, providing they have been kept up to date.0 -

The malware removal guide has all this and more. This is a relatively common spyware and not anything to do with leeching personal details from the pc and can quite easily get on a pc through perfectly innocent browsing etc. We don't want accusations to start flying needlessly."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I don't believe for a second the software "isn't installed by stealth"."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I agree.
I linked to the article because it was recent and relevant, not because I believe them!
Hopefully the advice in earlier posts will help bonnie get rid of this scumware.
Good luck.0
