Hello,
I'm looking for cheap or preferably free ideas for date nights? I.e. no meals out, cinema etc
Has anyone got any good ideas?
Thank you so much!

Where do you live? What is around you within walking/cycling distance, or if you want to drive, within driving distance?0

What part of the country do you live in? It would be helpful to know because some places are better than others for free things to do.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

Date day (instead of night): a picnic. Unless the temperatures go up quickly, then you could do picnic in the dark

Unless you want to go out somewhere, a "pampering" session, giving each other a foot rub or similar

Board games -Scrabble etc
Theme food nights... Mexican, Italian etc and learn some phrases and each guess what they mean.
Walks to local parks / canal / river - light evenings mean that you can take a picnic.
Reliving first date - hiring the movie, recreating the meal etc.:hello:0 -

Look on the free cinema tickets thread, if you live in an area where they do them it's a good free date. You can also use vouchers for free meals.

Bottle of Lambrini and a local park...!

Though, don't underestimate the value of a romantic walk!0 -
Anything that involves a bottle of fizz - a fiver? I always go for the one on offer - seems romantic to me. I have some glasses in a cardboard box that I got from Asda years ago. It still says £5 on the box, but I remember they were in the half price sale. They have been worth much more than that anyway. They even work with cheap white wine when needs must. It is so cheery drinking from a champagne flute and chinking glasses with a toast to us or similar.
I know this is not exactly nothing, but it can transform a walk or picnic.
Another option I like, especially when the weather is bad, is dress up in those clothes you have for best that you never get to wear by being money saving. If you don't have those clothes, this won't work, but I have nice dresses that I have worn a couple of times and hope to wear a couple more times but it's nice to dust them off, do my make up and treat it like a big night out and then eat some home cooked food. If you are feeling flash this could be the M and S meal for a tenner, it could be some oven cook snacky type prawn things, it could be whatever you would be having for dinner anyway, it could be something unusual and maybe that your partner really likes, in my case probably lasagne or maybe sea bass. It could be a pizza. Watching a film always makes a good date night - can you get a free online trial for lovefilm? Check the TV pages, otherwise.
