Loft conversion

I am looking to get a loft conversion done. It is semi detached property. In order to do this we are moving out but were thinking of self managing the project.
First is the demolition I was looking to get a builder to remove the trusses, joists, slates etc., as we need new tiles as well. He would also be removing all the ceilings.
I also want all my ceilings lowered on the first floor. In order to do this we will be moving out. If the roof and trusses were removed and the celings so a joiner could start from scratch how much would you think it would cost to construct something like this please. Materials and Labour.

No electrics, tiles, plumbing, windows etc. Just the woodwork.
Thanks

£10k given a decent spine wall and easy access, plus no weird purlin movements courtesy of building control
That doesn't include the slates, ie, re-roofing.
You want a builder that does this, no just a joiner.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Thanks. That was the kind of figure I was thinking of. What would you say for the demolition job if I was to erect scaffold. Something I'm contemplating doing myself but not 100% sure yet?Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Has anybody ever had ready made trusses installed?

It should look pretty well like this when I've finished. So if I employed a structural engineer to draw up the size of trusses needed I could buy the trusses and hire a crane and driver (price given of £700 a day) to lift the trusses up to a joiner/builder. I believe the trusses might only be about £2,000 max???
It's not just the money but how quick they could be done.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
I hope it doesn't look like that when you're finished

I don't understand why anyone would want to use roof trusses for a construction like that??
Convention dictates the roof is constructed on site, as you see from that earlier photo, it's simply purlins and rafters.
Dwarf walls are best constructed on site when you have a floor to stand on.
Why would you want to have to have the roof removed when by sticking with the traditional method most can be completed without exposing your property.
Also, and I may be wrong, but if you go for ready maded trusses the cost will likely be much higher.
Get a good pair of joiners;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
