I have just checked on line to see what time we are allowed to check in, only to find the reservation cancelled in March.
I have called Novotel to ask what had happened, she apologised, said she could rebook us in but it would be at a higher price. I asked to speak to the manager that wasn't even apologetic.
What do I do
This was our summer holiday, we have tickets booked for the theatre and restaurants.

Panic over I have found another hotel for the same price.
I called a few hotel to see if they could match the deal I originally had, One hotel said they would have cancelled the booking as the races are on that weekend and they could get over double for the room we had.
How rude of them.
Anyway all sorted now
