Whatever happened to the Pipeline "cheaper fuel" card??

With prices of petrol still rising, I just thought of Pipeline card! What on earth happened to this scheme? It looked so good, but nothing has been done with it. It's a real shame. I really think us brits need to stand up and make a point about the mad petrol prices. My dad has just come back from Spain and he said petrol prices were around 98c - about 60p!! Why are we always paying so much more than everyone else?! Something needs to be done....:(

Last update on the site was the Christmas 2006 sat nav competition update. It'll be a shame if this dies a death but then again I'm sceptical at the perceived benefits.

If haulage firms going through 10,000's of litres of diesel per week can't get the discount Pipeline was claiming, what makes you think they stand a chance, especially as the discount would mean the stations selling it at less than cost as the taxes on fuel are fixed.

Still, they got a nice list of real email addresses to sell.

If they have given up they should at least send an email out confirming this. We gave our addresses too aswell as email addresses and if it they have given up they shouldnt still be letting people join.
