Thanks for that... you must be right. I hadn't considered her paying 6 months at a time. Always thought £60 was low for a diesel anyway.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Some of the diesels are tax free, most small diesels are only £20 or £30 a year.
If you want a new car and your Mum wants to treat you and get you something she can see you enjoy then go for it. Depreciation is the biggest cost and that wont effect you as you aren't paying for it.0 -

But I actually quite like this one, so don't need much convincing that I should hang onto it. I'll book it in for a timing belt over the next couple of weeks and fingers crossed it'll keep me happy for a few more years yet.
