Thanks for that... you must be right. I hadn't considered her paying 6 months at a time. Always thought £60 was low for a diesel anyway.

Some of the diesels are tax free, most small diesels are only £20 or £30 a year.

If you want a new car and your Mum wants to treat you and get you something she can see you enjoy then go for it. Depreciation is the biggest cost and that wont effect you as you aren't paying for it.

But I actually quite like this one, so don't need much convincing that I should hang onto it. Well, I ask for advice from people that know more about stuff than I do - then I tend to take their word for it. This place has never let me down yet.
