I got a loan through first national which I believe is now GE Money of £5,0000 and there was PPI on that, however I wrote to GE Money and they told me that they didn't supply the PPI and that a company called Loan Line did, the letter told me that they would recommend me to contact them however they are no longer trading and I would need to contact the administrators to make any claim?

Could someone enlighten me on what I have to do from here?
I don't really want to let this one go.

Thank you! :)

edit:
Ok i have some details from a letter
Insurance policy underwriter: Cardif Pinnacle

GE Money provided the finance but they did not sell it to me, this was taken out through loan line ltd

You have to complain to whoever sold it to you.
If the company that sold it to you sold it prior to January 2005, they probably weren't regulated by the sound of it.
If they weren't regulated they can dismiss your complaint if they still exist. If they don't exist and it was sold to you before that date, your complaint is over because they weren't regulated and you can't use the FOS or the FSCS.
If the company sold it ot you after that date and have gone bust, you can complain to the FSCS.

If you bought it prior to that date the company is bust, you can only then try to complain to the underwriters, who can also dismiss your complaint [because you are complaining about the sale and they didn't sell it to you], unless you can show that the company who sold it to you were acting as agents of the insurers.
