Hello,
I took out a loan years ago for £7000, anyway I filled out the questionnaire and I got an offer today of £3,293.56
It was broken down as
PPI Premium Redress £1,811.96
Plus taxable interest at 8% £1,481.60
Total £3,293.56
I'm just wondering now if that is what it should be? And is this a good offer, as I know that first offers can be a bit hasty.

Not sure where you get that idea from. It doesnt apply to PPI redress payments which is a defined calculation.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I just assumed because I have seen a lot of messages where people can get more than the first offer? right?
So what is the difference between a redress and something else?0 -

Not seen messages like that. It isnt how PPI redress works. So what is the difference between a redress and something else?
PPI redress is a refund of premium (minus any claim amount paid out or refund/rebate) plus interest. No haggling involved.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
