How long do 'notice of corrections' stay?

I have checked my equifax online, and am waiting for my experian one to come in the post, however, on my equifax there is a notice of correction (apparently registered by me - which I didn't), anyway how long does that notice remain on my file? The correction mentions that my IVA was removed from the insolvency register. So even though m IVA is long gone from my file, I now have a notice on there that refers to the fact that I had one (completed) in the past.

I have spent months and months repairing my credit file, and putting my past behind me to move on, but have noticed that I now have that following me like an annoying fly.
