Help need PPI claim with Santander

I'ed be grateful for any advice. During arranging my mortgage the advisor was trying to sell me various other products that I did not want. She kept coming back to Payment care PPI insurance. I continously explained that I did not want it or need it due to my sickness and death policy held with work. I am paid 6 mths full sick pay and 6 mths half pay as well as an in death service payment if that should happen. The assistant was very pushy and wouldnt take no for an answer. I finally agreed to sign after 1 1/2 hours of her being so pushy so that we could go home. however I have since tried to claim the PPI back and Santander have refused on the basis that I could have cancelled the policy 14 days later and we didnt. At first when I complained to Santander via the telephone the advisor has put the wrong reasons down. I therefore completed there claim form, to which they have taken no notice of and refused to pay out. Any help or advice would be welcomed.

Why did you complain to Santander? Was she working for them?
