Dyson - Great Customer Service

Yesterday I called Dyson to get a replacement part for my DC34 handheld that I assumed was out of warranty (15 months old, damaged by accident). I had searched online for the part but was unable to find it, so I was expecting to be bent double at the price.

After waiting in the queue for about 5 minutes (0800 number) I talked to a great CS rep who checked the serial number, and told me the unit is still under warranty. She told me the part I needed was not available separately, so arranged for a whole replacement cyclone unit to be dispatched the same day.

Some people do knock Dyson, but with CS like this it's hard to do so.

i also have had good CS from dyson, i phoned them for a replacement roll bar, they dispatched one free of charge telling me the dyson was still under guarantee.
very pleasant and helpful.
