Harassed by Moneysupermarket

I can't seem to shake off money supermarket from spamming me and sharing my data. I've complained to them numerous times and they've said they cannot find my email address but yet I keep getting searches on my file leading back to them and newsletters plus over 50 spam emails a day. I have tried to opt out from the site but what you have to do is click on to their heads of terms before you can do so and then you are agreeing that you are offering them your data to keep sharing. This is becoming really stressful and frustrating I cant seem to get out of this circle. I have emails back and forth from credit agencies, insurance companies stating that its been them carrying out the searches on my file and I'm thinking I've opted out. Its never ending. I have made a complaint with the ICO, FSA and yet it still goes on. Anybody else had the same experience and can shed a bit of light on this?

I would suggest you stop reading any of the emails from sites that are worrying you, and stop trying to opt out of them. The more you contact them, the longer the problem will persist.

If you open an email that contains a graphic, a hidden message that you have read the email gets back to the sender, so they know you have opened it and your email address is still live.

This includes graphics that show up in the preview pane of your email reader, so turn that off as well if there is one.

Eventually, your name will drop off the end of their list of potential customers, but recontacting them will move it back to the top.

I have a legal right to opt out of these services and whilst they still have me registered they keep selling on my data and searching my file. It is now a form of harassment.
