    Morning peeps :)
Quick one from me. Spent yesterday doing errands and doesn't it show. House is a tip, washing to catch up on etc. so a day cleaning here after I've done the food shop. Thankfully going to aldi never takes too long, it's just the putting it all away that does
Not much OS to report, tea will be something involving courgettes I think as I have four that need using up.

Hugs and spoons later, sorry I've got to dash :o

Didn't get up until after 9am this morning. I'm back at work tomorrow, so felt like a lie in.

It's rather dull out and looks like it might rain, which is unfortunate, as most of the things I'd like to do are outside, like putting the washing out and doing some gardening.

I'll do what I can, otherwise, I might end up with my feet up inside. DH is not working today either, and he wants to do some gardening too. At the moment we're just watching Jeremy Kyle!

    We'll have haddock for dinner.

    Bye for now

    Morning All,

Sounds like Jackie has had a lie on this morning! :rotfl:

A little overcast here but reasonably pleasant. Forecast great for the weekend onwards, hopefully will stop my tan fading!

Nearly all the decluttering finished with the place looking a lot better. Have about 3 months worth of paperwork to catch up on tonight. Will try and sort out what needs shredding too, which is quite a bit I'm sure. That will keep me out of mischief tonight! ;)

Have a good day everyone

Tried to do some knitting yesterday, but had to give up after 15 minutes because my left hand didn't want to go on :(

    Morning all,

I'm feeling pretty negative today so rather than moan i'm not going to say anything.:(

Halight what a waste of time going to the hospital. Mind you, you did say you didn't know if they could tell you any more than you had found out yourself.

JackieO hope you enjoyed the concert.

Hilstep. Poor you. Seems like one lot of antibiotics after another for you. Hope you feel better soon.

Jools i'm really pleased you booked your holiday. If anyone deserves a break, you do.

NAR good luck with the paperwork. Our shredder died on us a few months ago so hubby decided to burn his down the garden. It was so funny to see, from my window I took pictures and the first thing I though in my head was that song by the Prodigy 'Firestarter'. He'd got his work shirt on, his boots and as it was cold he'd got the hat he wears for work on.

    Have a good day all,

Hugs to those feeling down, LW how are your visitors?
I'm currently dogless, as Ted went home yesterday. He's a little monkey, when he knows I'm packing his stuff to go home, he gets all his stuffed toys and deposits them around the bungalow; as fast as I pick them up, he takes them out again.:D My "Hairy Hooligans" Bailey and Cassie are due to arrive tomorrow after lunch, so I have a bit of time to put the vacuum round and generally get the place vaguely presentable.:o

Wax bath for my hands and feet scheduled for tonight, while there are no little canine noses to poke into the hot wax.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

Hectic day today at home and work!

Packed bf off to GB training this morning after spending a couple of hours looking after him as he was feeling a bit ill (apparently I've given him my bad throat. He was fine after a little while though!) and then I had to rush to work to avoid being too late. I was ok though as I have porridge pots in my desk so I had one of those when I finally got here!

I've been and opened a new bank account today with Halifax - no overdraft on this one and £100 paid to me for switching my DDs/SOs! Should help in the quest to be rid of my Lloyds overdraft by Christmas (closing half in 3 weeks anyway!) and my credit card will be gone in a few weeks too - bringing my lunch to work definitely has multiple benefits as it frees up time to do those bits! :)

Off to the gym after work as I will be busy the next few days and on Friday bf's mum is coming round to help me make friends with my sewing machine!

With bf away there's just me to sort for dinner so I'm planning Southern Fried turkey steak (from the freezer) served up with (instant) mash and veggies. Simple, quick and filling food :)

Well I had best be off and do some work for the last 10/15mins!

Will pop in later once I'm home.

Sorry the hospital were little help Halight!

LOL that would probably be me too Judi, it's obviously a "man thing." ;)

Well done lushlifesaver, every £100 counts! :T Just done the same last week with Halifax and the £100 is in my account already.
