Airport parking in Aberdeen

Hi does anybody know if there is anywhere free to park near Aberdeen airport?

There is a new car park opening in July just two minutes from Aberdeen Airport, selling discounted airport parking. Just search for "Aberdeen Airport Park and Depart".

There is a very good and cheap bus service linking the airport with the city centre, so that could be a solution.

The Long Stay parking off Thistle Road is the cheapest option I've found there. There is a frequent shuttle bus to the terminal.

Although since they improved the bus service from town, I've not needed to use it.

But you also can't park for free anywhere near the city centre, so you have to factor in parking further out and getting a bus into the centre too (unless the airport bus has a stop somewhere en route that has free and safe parking available).

The airport bus does have a number of stops en route, although I have not investigated the parking situation. However, apart from the dead centre of the city few places are likely to charge more for parking than does the airport.

Only problem with the bus option is if your flight is at 0530, and buses dont start till 0600.
We had to stay overnight in a hotel because of that.

The 727 bus currently starts at 04:30 on weekdays, 5:30 at weekends

So states Jason Stewart and it just so happens that the E-Commerce manager of Aberdeen airport is also called Jason Stewart. He wouldn't be trying to drum up business for the company he works for by any chance? (in breech of MSE rules)
