If you are sending that on behalf of someone else and wording it like that I doubt you will get any further with them.
What THE PERSON WHO HAS THE CONTRACT WITH THE COMPANY could do is write to them thus
LETTER BEFORE ACTION
On (date) I purchased (paragliding experience) at a cost of (price paid).
Despite my booking the experience for (dates booked) on every occasion the event has been cancelled by your company.
I therefore would like a full refund of all monies paid, being (£X) as you have consistently failed to provide the service I have booked.
If you do not respond within (14/21) days of receipt of this letter I will escalate my claim to small claims court where, in addition to the cost of the course you have failed to provide I will claim for the cost of bringing the action and any related out-of-pocket expenses.
If sent by recorded delivery keep receipt as that can be claimed too. Keep a record of all communication ready for Small Claims. Google 'Money Claim Online' for more information; check the company is still trading prior to bringing any action.
You don't say what was paid; if you scroll to the top of the forum and click on the reclaim £1000s tab (under Martin) then the Banks and Finance Tab, then go right down to the bottom of the Section 75 bit there's information about reclaiming payments made by debit cards. Under chargeback - HERE

Firstly thanks for the prompt reply, Valli,
I know the company and was ask to get involve and was just testing the waters politely, came to MSE to find out if under the circumstances we had any right?
1) no refund policy -- £185
2) they claim weather every time
3) finally they just blanking her!0 -
She has rights; of course. No refunds is an unfair T&C. But if they are blanking her it's time to stop being nice. You don't have any rights because you don't have a contract with them.
So EITHER she goes for a chargeback through her bank or she sends a letter before action.
Don't bother prettying it up with 'recommended' and 'nice' comments. Time to start talking straight.
Have you read the chargeback link yet?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
