This is being pulled tonight. The next deals will be fixed to Nov 2016 or Sept 2014. Don't know anything about prices

I just looked at the prices and they are so high its shocking for economy 70 -
No loyalty from me, I'm afraid. Never planned any.
When my EDF Blue+ ends after Winter (April 2014), I'll just hit the comparison sites again and take whatever is the cheapest.

Edit: Checking today for my usage and area, EDF Blue+ September 2014 is quite competitive for E7 electricity fixed, beaten only by Flow energy (who happen to be the cheapest of any electricity tariff for me, including variable tariffs, and also the cheapest for gas for me) and iSupplyEnergy, and closely followed up by Ovo (who supplied me previously)
Of course if you want to fix prices for 3.5 years ahead, you will be paying a premium today0 -
Just did a compare and the 2016 deal is 28% more than I am paying now :eek:0
-
But will prices go up by that amount over the same period?
Anyone got a spare crystal ball?0 -
Flow want to charge me > £100 per year, than I pay now with EDF, for the Blue+ Price Promise April 2014.
It would take a good price reduction to make me switch. I like EDF for the great customer service and efficient online service. I read my own meter every month and I stay up to date by adjusting payments if necessary. That way I cannot go into debit, which has happened in the past with less efficient suppliers.
The sickening fact is that world energy prices are increasing all the time and all energy companies are making promises they will find difficult to keep. Customers will start off with what is initially given as a 'fair' estimated monthly/yearly payment cost, then find their supplier contacting them months later to tell them it has increased substantially. we have to realise that all energy companies have to keep paying higher prices for their supplies. They are not in the business to operate at a loss, consequently they will increase your DD.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
