I put in a PPI claim to bank of scotland around the start of June. Then I received letter confirming they had received my complaint and I should expect a decision within 8 weeks, then out the blue tonight i received a phone call from someone in BOS PPI department asking me questions that I had already answered in on the forms I filled out. They were asking me about how much a would of received if I was off work sick and if a get a payout if I die in work. It felt as though they were trying to prove I needed the insurance (which I didnt) is this normal?

The form you sent will just not have been filled out enough.
I promise you, they will be looking for information to uphold your complaint.0
