PayPal Card

Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I currently have a paypal account, which I use to buy and sell things mainly on ebay.

When I log into Paypal i see that they now offer a card "Paypal access card" which you can use in shops etc.

Is this just the same as a debit card, with the money coming automatically out of your paypal account (obviously as long as you have the money already in there).

Has anyone got one and is it easy to use/ fee free etc?

It would be great if I could spend my paypal money in other places.

Thanks for reading

Yes it lets you pay for purchases in shops using your available PayPal balance. Although, there is a charge for cash withdrawals using it.

Very easy to use, it's also handy for paying at the post office counter. Have had mine for a long time and use it daily.

Now you can withdraw money into your bank account instantly from PayPal, why bother with an access card? There is literally no point in it.

When I was in trouble with payday loan companies, I used to transfer my wages to my paypal account so wonga etc couldn't take their money, then once I had set up a payment arrangement with the payday loan companies I just transferred the money back into my current account so I didn't have to set up a new bank account etc.

You were lucky the payday loan companies didn't just try to take the money anyway, thats what they normally do!
