Hello all - after some help here... Just moving into a new flat, and I only want a landline so I can use the free Orange broadband I get with my mobile. Therefore I am not bothered at all about call charges (I have loads of free mins to use on the mobile) and am only bothered about how much it costs to have the actual line a month. Is the £10.50 BT deal the cheapest option, or are there any better deals out there? Have had a quick scout round and no joy.
Any help much appreciated!

Is the property a new build where no one has had BT Service before,or is it an older property where a BT Master Socket and wiring are in place?0

Toucan is cheapest at £8.99 per month for payment by direct debit with online billing.

But you cant sign up for Toucan line rental unless your a BT Customer, and BT will hold you to a 1 year contract,or charge a penalty.0 -

No as has already been pointed out.
Its technically possibly but Toucan are not interested in setting up lines, just taking over existing ones from BT.
http://www.madasafish.com/talk/new-line-installation.asp supply new lines at £9.99p a month with 28 days contract. Its possible they might take over the existing BT line if everything is in place and working.0 -
thanks for all your help guys - i will have to go with the BT offer then I think for now!0
