sooooo Confused ?

Please can anyone advise me on the following

my husband recently called credit expert to ask why they have still been taking £10.99 per month from us when we had cancelled with them back in march 2010 (we only discovered that we had still been paying because we have recently started using internet banking)
Credit Expert had told him that there had been some mistake with the system and they would refund us any money owed
I then had to call them back this morning as it was my account and i was told that they have no proof of my call to cancel with them and as a good will gesture they would refund me 2 months payments, they can also tell that i have not used the service except for 1 time, the guy that i spoke to said that it was my word against theirs that i even called at all and that i should prove that i called them, is this right can they do this i thought that credit expert were a company that were conscious of peoples money issues ?

please help Im so cross and don't know what my next step is

Not saying you didn't cancel as I'm sure you did but I would say plenty of people who have not cancelled their subscription might of tried this.

Ps I take it you havent checked your credit report since 2010 then?

You say you have only discovered it since you went onto online banking, but it would have been on every single bank statement you received since inception. Even more noticeable than online banking????

If you called them from your landline or from a contract phone you should be able to retrieve itemized billing for that time and prove you called them.
