No acknowledgement for initial PPI complaint

Hi there,
I have recently sent off 5 forms for claiming the PPI on accounts.
One has acknowledged it with a letter (Lloyds) the others have not (2 with Barclays, one with the company that have taken over old egg acccounts as this one was cleared before Barclays too over, and one with Virgin who sent me the form to fill in as they believed I was missold).
Is this normal to not be acknowledged? I know there is a heck of alot of claims right now, was just curious really if this normal.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Are you sure it said that? Wasnt it just a CCL offering to invite you to complain if you felt it was mis-sold (to allow them to start the timebar clock). Not a letter saying they believed it was mis-sold.Is this normal to not be acknowledged?
