hiring a van for a move

hi iam moving from scotland(fife) to West yorkshire in august and was wondering who knew of a cheap large van hire place? i need to drive down one day and drive back the next. I have a friend thats gona drive so just need the van, any ideas?

    How about buying a banger of a van? Then selling it when it's used? This way you can do as many miles as you want (make a repeat trip if needed) and the cost to you is the petrol, the months insurance (you can get monthly insurance) and the difference between what you pay and what you get back when you sell it.

    You can always rent one one way, Ryder used to allow that...

    HI cutesee .. we moved from the northwest to the southwest and the cheapest van hire we found was 1car1 http://www.1car1.com/ they have locations in Scotland but not sure if they are local to Fife
