Surely these 9 o'clock starts cannot be right. You would still need to queue up early just to get in the front of the queue. Not worth hours of my life!

I've just been told I have been selected as a VIP customer, so I must be in a later batch. It looks like I'm in for another day of checking

The last few VIP slots I have had, I couldn't get anything at all I wanted, yet I checked a couple of weeks later and it was all in stock with free delivery to store, so don't be disheartened guys

Yep, I've been told the same, but I'm guessing they will be for thurs and there won't be anything left by then. I wish Next were more upfront and honest about how they select those that get the early VIP slots. If its randomly computer generated then fair enough, but I meet all the criteria, and haven't had a decent slot for 2 years now, whereas a friend of mine, who rarely uses her account, has a first slot for tomorrow.

I always used to get an early slot until a couple of years ago I was away on hols and couldn't get wifi so missed my slot - have been at the back of the VIP queue ever since! Probably just a coincidence

I am totally with you there pj68. I have not had an early slot for a couple of years now, and I wish Next would be more up front on their selection process. I have been an excellent long standing customer for Next - in fact they have only recently increased my credit limit to rather a large amount! Waste of time doing this as it is a waste of time having a slot as even if I do get one now everything will be gone. If anyone from senior management in Next reads these forums you should realise that you may well be losing some of your valued customers! Im off to Debenhams!
