Payment not showing

'Morning all!

Daft question possibly but I am sure I made a payment to my Santander 123 card on Friday from my debit card through the payment system on the Santander website however the payment isn't showing either on my CC or my bank account (where the funds would come from).

Obviously if this payment just hasn't happened it's not a huge issue - I can just do it again - but should I check with either bank to make sure it's not going to go through?

Better check the bank first so you won't double the payment.

I just went to make another payment and it told me;

• Payment amount You can only make payments up to the value of your outstanding balance + £100. Please choose a lower payment amount

I presume that means I have to wait until my statement is produced to make the payment? I know it probably sounds daft but I'm not used to spending on CC and paying it off so I thought I'd be able to pay it off at any time. My balance is £317.42 and I was wanting to pay £117.42 but I made a payment before of £70-odds so I could really only make a payment of £30 or so until m y statement is produced?

As long as you aren't about to hit the payment due date then I'd give it a few days. This regularly happens with my Tesco CC. I make the payment online, through their web site then money doesn't come out of my account for 2 or 3 (working) days.

I would presume it'd show off my available balance though?
