Help working out CTC

I'm currently on Maternity leave with baby number 2. My Maternity leave is due to end on the 9th September but there has been changes in my work place that are making me consider not returning. Or returning but only for a few months until after Christmas.
There has been major restructuring in my company. (3rd time in 7 years )
My role no longer exists but I've been offered a role within the same business unit as a receptionist. Don't get me wrong I'm grateful but I travel 45-60mins for the job and its now going to require a significant amount of cover at hours that will make things difficult for getting my daughter to school and son to nursery. In addition to this we have been told no holidays during peak periods (eg Easter - more difficulties with school holidays).
I'm now contemplating leaving and getting another job that hopefully fits in easier with my existing arrangements. I'll happily work anywhere I can find that's suitable.
But my question is if I choose to make myself unemployed would I get any additional assistance until I get a different job?
My husband now earns exactly £24000
Currently we receive Child Benefit and CTC of around £75 a month.
My Salary if I returned would be £10500.

Sorry just found a link to a website called turnto us.org
I think I would get £66.59 per week. Is this accurate?
Sorry but I'm definitely suffering with baby brain right now :rotfl:0 -
turn2us is pretty reliable assuming you answer the questions carefully. Note that tax credits work on an annual basis so they are interested in your income over the tax year, not what your annual salary is (important if eg you give up/change job half way through the year).0
