Returning Shelves to Homebase

I bought two small floating shelves from Homebase for £11.99 each. They were expensive for something Ikea have at £5 but Ikea only have the small ones in Black or White and we needed Oak.
Upon fitting the shelves they wobble about (this is after the screws have gone in to fix them in place) and aren't sitting level against the wall.
This is the actual shelf on the bracket that's uneven, not the shelf on the wall.
Is it possible to return these to the store and get a refund even after they've been opened / fitted?

Could be worth a try seeing as its Homebase.
Do you have a spirit level so you can show them how uneven they are?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.

These shelves are rubbish. They are supported by a couple of steel rods which, bolted to the wall, protrude forward and the shelf slides onto them. The problem is that the shelves have such rough large holes that they just droop forward on the rods.
Certainly return them to the store and tell them they are not of merchantable quality. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0
