Grouting under kitchen cabinets

Hi all,
One quick question...is it a common practice to NOT grout under the kitchen cabinets?

Where are you actually talking about? Do you mean between the wall units and worktops or under the floor cabinets?

My DH says, if he has tiled a full floor area in an empty room, he woud grout all over, then the kitchen would be fitted on top.
IF the kitchen is in place, he would only tile a bit under the kick boards then fully grout. If theres a sapce for a wash machine or dishwasher, he would fully tile and grout this space also.

    you need to explain more..

We just laid new tiles across the whole kitchen. We were replacing units, so it made our decision easier.

If you tile it - grout it.

If you'll never see it - don't tile it in the first place ;)
