Refunds on Credit card purcHASES

After being ripped off by a fake modelling agency got a refund on my credit card of the full amount spent under section 75 of the consumer credit act but after three months the credit card company have taken the money back. Are they allowed to do this

    Are you sure it was a S75 claim and not a chargeback?

    When you asked them why they had taken they have added the debt back to your what did they say?

    Sounds like you requested a charge back rather than a S75, so the CC issuer refunded your account, and then the retailer challenged the charge back with valid evidence and so they redebited your account. The CC issuer would inform you why they have done this. What did they say?
