hi this is my first post and yet anbother PPI thread on here, sorry about that lol
im looking into claiming ppi as i have had numerous credit cards and bank loans from the yorkshire bank, some over 13 years ago and i dont have any specifics or details on them, im still paying my recent loan
my question is what do i do now, ive had a look about on here and its quite mind boggling to be honest, is there any chance of me getting anything back?
i also had a loan with ocean finance about 7 years ago (bad advice from mortgage advisor), do i email them asking about it as i have nothing about the loan either
just want to know if im wasting my time or not?
thanks in advance
Allan

Only you know whether it's worth complaining.
You need account numbers, not agreements, and if you don't have the account numbers, you'll need to send a SAR and £10 to see what info is left [see the front page sticky for a template]
And read through this

Ask more questions as and when

I've always found our lenders really helpful whenever I have rung for details, it's alot quicker than waiting for a response to a letter:) I found it helpful to have a list of questions I wanted to ask0

Stellaz, I claimed my PPI back from Yorkshire Bank 13 years ago ( 1999 ) so you have every chance to do the same. Good luck.0
