how to get a spare car key?

OH has a relatively new, (to him) Peugeot Partner van. This came with one key and a credit card type arrangement with a security code and a key symbol on it. At the weekend there was a mad panic because he appeared to have lost the keys in a car park, to on the way to a job.

After calling out a local garage he knows to break into it and at least rescue his gear, we found the keys just before we broke in. This was after we had established that the only way to get a second key was to present self to the Peugeot dealer with the credit card code, log book and proof of identity and they would order one.

So today he started to assemble the necessary, only to find in the panic about losing his keys, he had lost the credit card with security code (probably while searching for his lost keys).

So how does he go about getting a spare key? I am assuming he will just have to have all the locks replaced.

I don't think this should need a main dealer - there are specialist car key places who should be able to deal with it, or maybe an auto electrics place?
