Volunteer Required

I need a volunteer to help a defendant in court in a couple of months time, in the West Wales area.

It's a claim from a well known PPC, and very defendable.

If anyone who knows their way round the County Court system would like to take this one on, please send me a PM.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

I'm in the right area, but have never been to a small claim hearing. If that helps at all?

Your name was suggested to me, and I tried to PM you, but apparently you can't receive PMs for some reason.

If you can PM me your email address, I'll fill you in on the details.

I thought they never ever went to court.
You just ignore the letters and they give up.

That was before October last year, since then a couple of ppc's are using the threat of court to extract even more money from motorists.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
