catalogue ppi

I have a catalogue account that I have had for years (at least 20). I know that in previous years that I paid ppi on the account, which had been added without me asking for it, and cancelled it some while back, I'm guessing in the late 1990's, I have no paperwork or anything to do with this, but I remember cancelling due to the fact that I was a stay at home mum with no income of my own. How would I start a claim to recover any monies owed to me? Looking at the standard letters to send, they all seem to be directed towards bank loans. Any advise would be appreciated.

You complain in the same way to the company who owns the catalogue account now.
