Can you help ? A friend of mine is in America and I have asked to buy a 30gb Apple I-pod for myself as it is approx £110 v £160 in the UK.
Are there are issues with buying it overseas and using in the UK - I can only forsee the issue with charging the i-pod which can be easily overcome.
Appreciate any views on this.....
Cheers,
Albert

My Ipod is American and I've never had any problem - There are no issues
Charging isn't even a problem either since Ipods don't come with chargers - They are charged from the computer's USB port so it's not as if you need an adapter0 -
Same here. I bought mine in Boston and it works just fine, charging the lot. At the time there was different firmware in so much as the US iPod went louder due to some Euro Law about deafening peeps. I don;t know about that now but I have never had any issues with it at all.
HTHThe quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0
