House Insurance and Door Locks

I've read Martins tricks for getting cheaper house insurance and have a question about locks on my doors.

I have 3 doors, a front, a back and a patio door. All three doors have different types of locks. When I go into a price comparison site you can only click one option. Therefore what do I do? Do I choose the front door option and hope no-one breaks in at the back. Will the insurance pay out if that we to happen i.e a different lock to the one stated?

Many thanks :)

Probably state the least secure to the insurance (weakest link) or make steps to bring them to the same security standard\ bracket..

Moneysupermarket.com asks you what locks are on:

    1. The main external door
    2. any patio doors
    3. any other external doors

So you could select all the different ones
    Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

    Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,000

As above, most do ask for 3 categories of doors, if the "other" contained more than one then either chose the worst or if there is no "worst" then simply pick one.

Once you get through the insurers site make sure all the details have come across correctly and answer for any additional doors you have that the aggregator didnt ask about. If there is still an issue of more than one "other" then call the insurer BEFORE buying

Thanks for the replies. I'll do a comparison and then before I buy I will call insurer to double check the details I've put in and take it from there.
