Flower delivery recommendations

My friend will be 50 next week. She lives too far away for me to pop off a present so I'm intending to post a card to her and arrange for some flowers to be delivered. Looking for recommendations in terms of price, quality and reliability.

Any advice gratefully received.

I have just used debenhams twice and my mum sent me a pic of them and they were lovely. Quidco has 15% or 6% cash back and £5 off. Lots of flowers have discounts and some have free chocolates and free delivery. I have some more to be delivered tomorrow too so will let you know what they are like.

I've used Bunches a couple of times (https://www.bunches.co.uk). They have plenty of choice, pricing is reasonable, and they are offering an additional 10% off at the moment (see their Facebook page), plus free chocs are included. Last time I ordered at 4pm, and my friend had them by 9 the next morning, which I really didn't expect. I think you can get cashback through Topcashback as well.

I've used M&S before. Look at money back through Quidco for any shopping first.

I've used https://www.flyingflowers.co.uk a few times and have always found them to be reasonable in price and to deliver promptly too.

Also for something abit different, flower cards is another good one to go for, a combination of both a card with flowers inside.

Why not google some local ones to where youre friend lives, they will certainly be fresher and probably cheaper.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I can recommend Orchids by Post - (their website is 'orchidpost') my friends have been very impressed with their gifts from me via this service. All varieties of beautiful Asian orchids in large sprays, bouquets and plants - and usually with good offers.
My other 'go to' flower delivery company are Cornish Blooms - friendly service and their lovely big bunches have been much appreciated.
As these are both despatched via Royal Mail, I usually take the risk and ask for them to be left on recipient's doorstep/porch. That way the gift is waiting for them if they are not at home. This saves the recipient having to arrange re-delivery, and ensures the parcel is not sent to sorting office with possible deterioration while awaiting pick up.

My friend is a florist and always recommends people to find shops local to the delivery as your money is then spent on flowers and not admin and others costs.

For something different and unusual there is Flowercard, look at their website. They are quite small, but when I have sent them to people for birthdays etc. they have then gone on to send them to people they know.

I second the recommendation for Bunches. I always use them - convenient, reliable, free chocolates and recipients have always been happy with their gifts.
