Cahoot loan they have no record of me help please

Morning I had a loan with cahoot I've managed to find the account number but when I've been in touch they said they have no record of me. Has anyone got any clues of what I can do I was thinking of going to a ppi claims company.

Cheers Gary

No how do I go about doing that? I've reclaimed from everyone else and had no bother?

If i came to you and told you you owed me £20 would you pay me or ask me for proof?
    They are doing the same.

You can complain using the account number, but if they no longer have records, and neither do you, then your complaint is over. They are asking for proof you both had PPI and that you paid the PPI.
They were also not regulated prior to January 2005, so they could dismiss your complaint if it's before then anyway.
Have you made a complaint to them and when was it sold to you?
