I have read today on the BBC website that the Hull 20 has now risen to 44. Does anyone know if any other judges are treating these cases in the same way.

I was one of the original twenty who recieved the letter thretening to strike out my claim. I sent Martin all my documents and recieved the letter from the solicitor this week saying they were going to represent us in court on the 4th July, free of charge (thank you Martin).

Then on thursday i recieved a letter from Lloyds TSB solicitors saying they were in their rights to charge me, and understand i am going to court with them on 4h July but as an acknoledgement if i close the case they will give me all of my money back plus interest plus court costs as way of full and final settlement. Nearly 3000 pounds. Of course i will not close the case until the money is inn my hand!!!

The banks know they are going to lose, do not give in and they will settle up before court, don't worry, i never throught i would get my money back and i have. YOU WILL TOO, keep going!!!
  • I have recently had a second brush off letter from Natwest and as the 14 day deadline I set has now expired I have logged onto the MoneyClaim website and set up my court claim. I live in Hull and with all this recent news around the strike out cases I was wondering how best to progress my claim, should I wait to see what happens on the 4th July or kick my own claim off now?

Also on the MoneyClaim website it asks:
'Does or will your claim include any issues under the Human Rights Act 1998?'
I assume this will not be relevant in these cases, but thought I'd check before progressing.

    Thanks for your help
