6. The Promotion starts at 12:00 on 1st July 2013 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23.59 on 31st July 2013 (the Promotion Period).
7. Entrants can only enter the promotion once. To enter, participants must go to https://www.potnoodle.com from their desktop, answer the multiple choice question and enter their details to enter the prize draw. User’s details are required in order to fulfill their prize if they are the winner. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s), multiple identifies or addresses to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, brute force’ or any other automated or manual means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
8. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or those automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries, nor those not in accordance with the entry instructions will be accepted. For the avoidance of doubt, entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
9. There is no cash alternative to the prize, and the prize is not transferable.
10. When the activity ends at 23.59 on 31st July 2013, one main prize winner will be drawn at random by an independent adjudicator from all valid entries. The winner will be notified within 2 days of the activity ending via telephone and a winner’s form will be sent via email. The winner will then have 14 days of receipt of that notification to claim their prize and provide all required passport information to the Promoter. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
11. The Promoter will use the details as supplied at the time of entry.
12. The Promoter cannot accept any liability for any failure of hardware, software, computer, phones or other systems which may result in any entry, or other information about the entrants or the Promotion being lost, damaged, delayed or corrupted in any way. Entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected.
13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, or in connection with the prize (to the full extent permissible by law).
14. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
15. The winner’s details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to: Pot Noodle Peel the Top off a Hottie Weekend, PO Box 906, Chilton, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR within 10 weeks after the published closing date, from requests enclosing a self-addressed envelope.
16. The winners will be required to participate in publicity arising from this Promotion at no expense to the Promoter.
17. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
18. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to verify the winner and disqualify and/or withhold the prize(s) of any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the website, or to have acted in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
19. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
20. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation, or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
