Abosk Ltd - Dogdy letter?

Options
Hi,

Been away for the weekend and got back to a letter to my wife from a company called Abosk saying that an order has been placed on her behalf for delivery on her birthday, which is September. There information on it, about how to contact them with queries, which is quite confusingly written.

It's a mobile number that says to only text it, tried calling but no answer. The company has an address which is only about 10 miles from us, but a registered address in Nottingham. If you google the company there is NOTHING about them on the internet, is this a scam? Maybe to get you to text a number that will then charge you £50 say?

Thanks.

If it were a ltd company, it should show on Company check, but it didn't. Can't see any web presence, and all seems a bit shifty.
What address have they given? What do they claim to do? Are they delivering food/wine/jewellery/a camel?

Could be a debt collector - can you scan the letter (removing any personal details about your wife and address), and upload it??

Have they actually mentioned the date of your wife's birthday? If so, is it correct?

There is an address on the letter that is in Winchcombe, about 10 miles from us. There is also a 'Registered' address at the bottom that is in Nottingham. They have a company registation number too which when I looked it up is for a tuition and education company of a completely different name, so I think this is made up.

They say they specialise in delivery of personal and sensitive data for occasions such as birthdays/wedding/anniversaries etc. They have put the date of delivery as my wifes birthday, which is correct. Tried googling the mobile number and there is nothing, I tried calling it as well with no answer.

Have you tried looking at the addresses on google street view, or just googling the address?

Abosk is text speak for 'A Bunch Of Stupid Kids' might be a sign :/

Sounds like you're saying a company you've never heard of and who's registered details you have discovered are fake, have your wifes name/address/date of birth?

If the address is 10 miles away why not pop round or if you want our help tell us the address, the company number, mobile or registered address you have, we're working blind otherwise and can't help you without reasonable information

The address in winchcombe looks like a small business park, and the one in Nottingham is just a house!

Please let us have the addresses for this 'company' and their mobile phone number. Can you upload the scan of letter, as I suggested yesterday.
