Some of my 20 something family are off to Barcalona shortly and are looking for recommendations for reasonably priced clean no frills accommodation near the centre. Can anyone help?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Very cheap and very central. basic and no frills but cleanBut if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -

Auto Hogar is on one of the main roads, short walk to Ramblas or buses to most of the main destinations0

Nothing particularly impressive but great location and well beyond what you can expect for the price.0 -

Travelodge have some hotels in Spain. If the above link doesnt work, go to their website, https://www.travelodge.co.uk and type in Spain under Search. "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0 -

Thanks MissB. We've stayed in the Madrid Travelodge which was excellent. I'll suggest the Barcelona one but it might be a bit out of the centre for them even with the bus link?0 -
Thanks for all the above advice, I'll be sure to pass on the info.0

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps0
