Changing password

I have just given my old computer to the local hospice shop. The chap from the computer shop next door has cleaned it. I have checked but does not know whether everything has been wiped out. I had to leave the computer in the workshop and came back when it has been done. I have only his word for it, the manager said, they have to clean all computers given to the shop before selling as it is a requirement, it's not only personal details just in case of porno etc. As a precaution, I have changed all my passwords for my online banking. Do you techies think it will help? I thought, without the correct password, my online banking should be OK, am I correct? Thanks

If it had been me i would of changed my login details too just to be on the safe side. Most dodgy people will go to all lengths to get your personnel details no matter how small.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best :beer:
