Finding price of part ex property

Options
Hi we are hoping to buy a property that was recently taken in part exchange by a private buyer. Is there anyway of finding out how much he paid for it (other than asking the EA)? How long do the prices take to appear on rightmove/zoopla etc?

cheers

Nick

If the property was a part-exchange then it is very unlikely to have been included in any property price information which is then supplied to third party websites.

The transfer itself is likely to only refer to the fact that it was a part-exchange and any monetary sum paid as part of that exchange - it would not refer to the full value which would then enable you to work out the difference, which is what I assume you are after?

    Thanks for that reply

Its as I suspected, I guess the next step is to contact the EA and see if they'll tell me??

I doubt they will tell you, as in essence it is a priovate deal between those two parties.

It wont relect what the property is worth to an independant buyer.

assuming that you want to negotiate based on what the part ex value was.
