Does anyone know where to buy a basic fish tank ?

I'm looking for a basic tank larger than 48x15x12" with a hood but not a must. Most of the ones I can find are either orbs or really expensive and elaborate ones. So just a basic large tank really, if anyone knows a decent online shop for them ?
Nice to save.

  • we were looking for a 2 ft tank for our turtles,
in pets at home i think the 2ft one was £36, lid extra,
don't know if they done bigger

we ended up going to our local aquarium shop, got a really nice one for £80 (with wooden lid and edging)

its always best to go to your local shop as they will have larger tanks than what most people want,

Pets at home sell basic glass tanks- you will need a hood as many fish jump out of the tank.

google 'fishless cycling' too to get yourself off to a great start in the hobby.;)

p.s. I'm an aquatic advisor at a friendly little website, if you want the details PM me.:D
