If you only go for one day then you need to go on a good day because so much of it is outdoors. You also need to be there before 10am to enter and have time to enjoy the rest of the house and park.
The safari is one of the best. Way better than Whipsnade and Woburn. The monkeys at Woburn are lazy, tame and will generally leave your car alone. The monkeys at Longleat are evil little bar stewards!
