CCCS are brilliant in my experience. Everything is more tailored for your needs rather than reading off of a script about things that might/could or would happen.
im sorry you are worrying so much. Stay with us - Im new too. We can all get through this together.
Ive also got a 7 month old so I know how hard it is to try and think straight on no sleep. Hugs.0 -
CCCS = Consumer Credit Counselling Service.

I'm spelling it out as there are several debt advice companies that conveniently us the same initials, and who will rip you off.If you have debt problems, you're just a few clicks away from expert advice that could help you get back on your feet and on with your life.
CCCS is a charity, so you won't pay a penny for any of our services - whether you need immediate debt advice tailored to your situation or more general budgeting advice.
Whatever money worries you're going through right now, chances are we can help - just as we have done for all kinds of people before you. Take a look around and see what we can do for you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

REGARDING THE CAR:
If it was of any value, i.e over £1500, you could be perceived of fraudulently disposing of an asset if you did it in the 12 months prior to banking.
TBH, being sat here, that's exactly how I'd perceive it - you "sold" it to your boyfriend to stop the OR having a claim. You could have a bit of explaining to do with that one.0 -

Where does the OP say she sold the car to her B/F? I read it as the car being registered in OP's name but OP not being the actual owner. Surely that's a different thing altogether than 'selling' it. I don't see that's she done anything wrong.

Kerryboo, I went BR for the same amount yesterday. If that is the advice you are being given, do it sooner rather than later honey.
Your little one needs mummy and you have to get the show back on the road. I am a single mum to a 5-year-old boy and do understand that sicky feeling. Can't begin to tell you how many times I have sat and watched him sleep recently, looking so beautiful and peaceful, thinking "HOW has this happened?". Take control, don't let it control you. Good luck xx0
