You must work to your constitution.
If necessary get the constitution changed at your AGM and work to that. This may be how the club is wound up.
Be aware of any financial liabilities that the club might have and cannot meet if it is wound up. If it is unincorporated then the committee members who were involved in any decisions will be personally liable for any shortfall in funds.0 -
Surely this is up to the secretary and/or the present chairman to sort this out at the AGM. If they choose to absent themselves from the AGM then that is up to them and they will have to deal with the consequences. Turn up at the AGM as the good treasurer that no doubt you are with annual financial report ready to present and take it from there.0
