UKCPS parking fine help

I recently received a parking ticket from this company, I had to leave my car in a rush and in the Rush of the moment. I forgot to pay.
However, I noticed some small points about the whole car park after I got the ticket.
The ticket is almost unreadable as the pencil is very faint and handwriting is extremely poor.
I later returned to see the contract board expecting to see a large sign. Only to find a large white board Atleast 4-5 ft wide with a small plaque no bigger than an a3 piece of paper. The 'contract terms' are not visible when driving in as they are on the reverse side of the sign leading into the car park. As this is so small and not in a clear position, I believe that a contract has not been entered.
Can anyone help me out and tell me if I have a stance. I don't want to pay £60 or £100.

You just wait for the first postal Notice to Keeper to arrive. You never respond to a fake PCN on the windscreen unless you are not the registered keeper, such as if it's a company or hire car.
Read up on other threads around yours right now and you will see that you send a short challenge but ONLY when you get the first postal notice. Your points about the bad signage are good but you need photos. And you won't be showing them in that first challenge to UKCPS; instead you will be showing them to POPLA as part of a very strong appeal (please just read current threads to learn about the appeal stages and do not word the POPLA appeal stage without help).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Would you suggest appealing via UKCPS? I think I have to write a letter to appeal yes? Should I mention the poor signage and mention the photos I have
Then If that fails try POPLA.0 -
That's right, but only when you get the Notice to Keeper, so in the meantime read up on what's involved. Loads of threads here talk about appeals and POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How will they get my address to post a notice if I don't appeal0 -
From the DVLA of course, they are allowed to buy your data for £2.50 as are all AOS members of the BPA. Just wait.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Should I send them an appeal now or should I just wait? What good does waiting do?0 -
No. How many times?! Wait. For very good reasons including:
1. They may muck up their admin and never follow up the ticket (I had one like that last year)
2. The Notice to Keeper is the most likely document to be non-compliant so you want one of those!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To elaborate:
They don't know who was driving your car. Accordingly, they are going to try to hold you liable as the keeper of the vehicle. However, to do so they have to send you a Notice to Keeper (NtK), BUT the law is very, very detailed about what a NtK must contain and when it must be sent. On top of this, the pond life you are dealing with are not very bright, and they very frequently muck up the NtK and fail to comply with all the legal details. And if they do, it's sayonara time: their right to hold the keeper liable went out the window, and they still don't know who was driving.
So sit back, make a cuppa, and wait for that NtK. When you've got it, come back and we can have a little fun with them.Je suis Charlie.0
