    No. There isn't.

They are dealing with cases in order they were received. You can give them a ring and see if they can tell you anything general, but I doubt it;-

thx , i just called them and after a long wait a nice lady answered the phone and she confirmed all the details were correct on system and yes they do have a back log in essex area , am glad atleast they could answer my query
  • We have been awaiting a valuation with Nationwide. Been told it would take place a full 4 weeks after the full application completed. Just a bit of advice...we asked them to put a note on our file seeking a cancellation for an earlier appointment, 2 days later it has been rebooked for 2 weeks earlier...!

    Hey guys

Finally received offer on 2nd property we applied :T

however am a bit concerned abt valuation report

    few reasons stated :

1> the property has suffered previous movements, but i saw no evidence that this is ongoing

2> there is evidence to ground floor walls and timbers in contact may be defective, u should instruct a damp and timber contractor to investigate the full extent and carry out necessary work

3> there is evidence of penetrating dampness and timbers .........

4>The conservatory should be repaired or replaceed

now for PT 1 : i received same comment on previous property as well , how important is this issue

point 2: received same point for previous property, i checked my mates valuation report miles away 3 yrs ago having same point

point 3: not sure whats the exact diff in point 2 and 3

point 4: there was 1 plastic sheet broken , but they havent referred exactly to that

what shud i be doing at this stage , exchange is abt to happen in 10 days time approx, prop worth 250k

    help plz
