Terms and Conditions
1.The "Win a Trip to Gamescom 2013" competition ("Competition") is open to persons aged 18 years or over who are residents of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom ("Entrant Countries") except employees, agents, contractors or consultants of the Promoter (as defined below) and their immediate families, the Promoter's associated companies and anyone else professionally connected with the Competition ("Entrants").
2. The Competition is open for entries on 17 June 2013 at 12.00 (GMT) ("Opening Date") and closes on 14 July 2013 at 23.59 (GMT) ("Closing Date"). The period from the Opening Date to and including the Closing Date shall be referred to as the "Competition Period".
3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase of any kind is necessary. By entering the Competition, Entrants accept and will be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms").

4. To enter the Competition, Entrants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:
a) Visit the PlayStation® competitions website at eu.playstation.com/psn/competitions;
b) Click on the link for the "Win a Trip to Gamescom 2013" competition;
c) Enter their email address in the field provided;
d) Click "Start" to begin the timed multiple choice quiz;
e) Answer all of the multiple choice questions as quickly as possible, and click "Submit" once completed to stop the timer; and
f) Enter the following information in the fields provided and click "Submit":
i. confirmation of email address;
ii. full name;
iii. date of birth; and
iv. country of residence.
5. Each Entrant may only submit one (1) entry and will only be eligible to win one (1) Prize (as defined below). The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant if the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect that the Entrant has entered the Competition using multiple or fake e-mail addresses, or otherwise engaged in dishonest or cheating behavior.
6. There will be one (1) winner ("Winner"), determined as follows:
a) Each Entrant will be awarded a score corresponding to the number of questions they answered correctly ("Score") and a time corresponding to the time in which it took them to complete the questions and click "Submit" ("Time"). Times shall be recorded to three decimal places;
b) The Winner shall be the Entrant with the highest Score. In the event that more than one Entrant obtains the equal highest Score, the Winner shall be the Entrant that obtained the highest Score in the fastest Time; and
c) In the event that more than one Entrant obtained the highest Score in the exact same fastest Time, those Entrants shall complete another set of timed multiple-choice questions to determine the Winner, in accordance with the ranking mechanism set out in a) and b) above. In the event of a further tie, this process shall be repeated until one Winner is obtained.
7. The Promoter shall notify the Winner by email, to the email address provided by the Winner at the start of the timed multiple choice quiz, of their selection within five (5) days of the Closing Date.
8. In order to claim their Prize, the Winner must respond appropriately to the Promoter's notification email within five (5) days from the date of the Promoter's notification email, and provide their full name, address, date of birth, contact phone number and the name of their chosen companion (who must also be over eighteen (18) years of age) ("Companion").
9. The Winner will win the following Prize ("Prize"):
a) two (2) tickets (one (1) ticket for the Winner and one (1) ticket for their Companion) to Gamescom 2013 to be held at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Centre, in Cologne, Germany from Wednesday 21 August 2013 to Thursday 22 August 2013 inclusive ("Gamescom");
b) two (2) tickets (one (1) ticket for the Winner and one (1) ticket for their Companion) to the PlayStation Press Conference to be held at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Centre in Cologne, Germany on Tuesday 20 August 2013 ("Press Conference");
c) return economy class flights for the Winner and their Companion from the Winner's home country to Cologne, Germany outbound on Monday 19 August 2013 and inbound on Friday 23 August 2013 (flights may not be direct);
d) four (4) nights' stay in a double or twin room at a hotel in Koelnmesse with a minimum 4 star rating ("Hotel") including breakfast, for the nights of Monday 19 August 2013 to Thursday 22 August 2013 inclusive;
e) return transport from Cologne airport to the Hotel (inbound on Monday 19 August 2013 and outbound on Friday 23 August 2013);
f) return transport from the hotel to the Press Conference on 20 August 2013;
g) travel insurance (subject to clause 17 below); and
h) £500 to be put towards meals, drinks, tips, transport (other than transport expressly included above) and spending money for the duration of the trip.

10.The Winner will be contacted by a third party agency, International Marketing Systems Limited ("Agency"), within one (1) week of the date on which they confirmed their details to the Promoter, to arrange travel and other prize logistics. The Agency may liaise with the Winner to discuss suitable travel arrangements (for example, preferred departure airports and flight times), however all flight, hotel and transport arrangements are at the Agency and/or the Promoter's sole discretion.
11. The Winner and their Companion will be required to complete an information and prize acceptance form and submit copies of their passports to the Agency to enable the Agency to make the required arrangements. At the Agency's request, the Winner shall provide any further personal details (for themselves and their Companion) which the Agency may reasonably require.
12. The ultimate value of the Prize will vary according to the transport and accommodation provided, however the approximate Prize value (excluding VAT and flight costs) is:
a) 2,075 GBP
b) 2,436 EUR;
c) 3.398 AUD;
d) 62,369 CZK;
e) 18,167 DKK;
f) 4,076 NZD
g) 18,588 NOK;
h) 10,408 PLN;
i) 103,852 RUB;
j) 21,158 SEK;
k) 32,123 ZAR; and
l) 3,006 CHF.
The cost of flights will vary depending on many factors, including the country of departure and the date of booking, and have not been included in the above Prize value amounts.
13. The Winner is responsible for all travel and other related expenses not forming part of the Prize, including but not limited to transport to and from the Winner's home airport, transport to and from Gamescom and any meals or other refreshments in excess of the £500 allowance included in the Prize.
14. The Winner will need to provide valid credit or debit card details to the Hotel at check-in as a security deposit.

15. The Winner and their Companion must have a valid passport with an expiry date of at least four (4) months after 19 August 2013.
16. Visas are the responsibility of the Winner and their Companion. If the Winner and/or their Companion require entry visas to enter Germany, they will not be allowed entry into Germany without having obtained a visa beforehand.

17. The Agency will arrange basic level travel insurance (excluding any pre-existing medical conditions) for the Winner and their Companion prior to departure. Travel insurance cover is subject to restrictions, and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. The Winner and/or their Companion shall be responsible for any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and/or persons over the age of 65 (if applicable).
18. Prizes must be taken as stated and may not be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives; however the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with a prize of a similar value.
19. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any problem which may result in any Competition entry or other correspondence being lost or not being properly registered.
20. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition or amend these Terms at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside its control.
22. The Agency will use reasonable endeavours to send the Prize to the Winner as follows:

a) by email, to the email address provided by the Winner, electronic tickets or booking confirmations for Gamescom, Press Conference, transport, travel insurance and accommodation; and
b) by bank transfer, to a bank account specified by the Winner, or by cheque sent via registered post, to the postal address provided by the Winner, the £500,
within one (1) week of receiving the Winner and their Companion's details.
23. If the Prize is found to be ineffective, faulty or damaged upon receipt, the Promoter must be notified in writing within seven (7) days of receipt, otherwise the Prize will be deemed to be accepted as received. This does not affect a Winner's statutory rights (if any).
24. The Winner agrees to take part in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter. In particular, the Promoter may want to film the Winner and/or their Companion at Gamescom and/or the Press Conference. By attending Gamescom and/or the Press Conference, the Winner and their Companion will be deemed to give the Promoter, and its associated companies, licensees and assignees, permission to:
a) photograph, film and record them during their visit;
b) edit, alter, reproduce, publish and distribute any such photographs, recordings and films or anything derived from them ("Material") in any medium; and
c) use the Material, in whole or in part, for any purposes it deems necessary to promote, advertise or exploit any of Promoter's products and anything connected with or derived from them.
25. The Winner and their Companion also agree to waive any moral rights that they may have in the Material and to release the Promoter and its associated companies, licensees and assignees from any claims for payment in connection with their use of the Material.
26. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish the Winner's name on the Promoter's website(s). The Winner's name will be made available on reasonable request to those enclosing a self-addressed envelope marked 'Win a Trip to Gamescom 2013' to the following address: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP United Kingdom within six (6) weeks of the Closing Date.
27. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may in its sole discretion refuse to process an entry or fulfill any Prize awarded.
28. The Winner may be required to pay tax on any Prize won in accordance with their jurisdiction's tax legislation and will be responsible for any related tax liability.
29. The Winner consents, and shall procure that their Companion consents, to their personal data being provided to the Agency and being transferred outside of the European Economic Area.
30. The Winner must ensure that they and their Companion comply with the relevant rules of entry when attending Gamescom and/or the Press Conference. Any refusal of entry is not the responsibility of the Promoter and the Promoter shall have no liability to the Winner and/or their Companion in respect of the same.

They're being slightly clever with this.

Though how clever, I can't tell. It seems to be saving the question set per email address. So you may be able to load the questions, copy, close the page without submitting, then look up the answers and come back. They could also be logging the second "look" however.

Makes sense as it's pretty trivial javascript to automate the select and submit.

Help needed! Answer questions as fast as you can to win a pair of tickets to gamescom 2013, which runs from 22 to 25 August 2013, as well as flights to Cologne and accommodation.
