Leek United Building Society mentions on its site the full 0.25% interest rate rise will be passed on, effective June 2nd, for its variable rate savings accounts. This excludes the existing Regular Saver because it has a Fixed Rate (7.50% gross).
June 1st sees the Society launch a new Fixed Rate savings bond with a guaranteed annual return of 5.95% gross. The site quotes telephone nr : 0800 093 0002 for info.
